Push Notifications for Missed Rostered Shifts

Stay on top of missed shifts with automatic push notifications. Learn how to enable roster monitoring and ensure managers are alerted when no staff clock in on time.

Push Notifications for Missed Rostered Shifts help ensure sites are attended on time by alerting managers when no staff have clocked in for a scheduled shift.

When enabled, the system automatically monitors rostered shift start times and notifies managers if a shift appears to be unattended.

How It Works

Once this feature is enabled:

  • The system monitors the expected shift start time for each site
  • A 15-minute grace period is applied after the scheduled start time
  • If no cleaner clocks in within this window, a push notification is sent
  • Notifications are sent to the selected management roles for that site

This allows managers to quickly identify and respond to missed or unattended shifts.

How to Enable Push Notifications

  1. From the homepage, click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Management
  2. On the Management page, select Company from the left-hand menu
  3. Click on the Settings tab
  4. Scroll to Default Clock-In Settings

  5. Enable Roster Staff Monitoring for the roles you want to notify:
    • Area Manager
    • State Manager
    • National Manager
  6. Click Save to apply your changes

Important Notes

  • Notifications are only triggered if the rostered user does not clock in within 15 minutes of the scheduled shift start time
  • Managers must have push notifications enabled on their mobile devices to receive alerts

Summary

This feature provides real-time visibility of missed shifts, helping management teams respond quickly and maintain service reliability across sites.
